- Mary Jo Ault was born on May 2, 1935 in Georgetown, Illinois, the daughter of Otis Shannon and Virginia Biggs. She married Edward Lee Ault on January 1, 1969 in Cayuga, IN. She passed away June 5, 2013 after an eight year battle with Multiple Myeloma.
Mary collected Dreamsicles and angels. She especially loved making her homemade ice cream. She loved being with her children, grandchildren, and her great grandchildren. She enjoyed playing bingo and coloring with the kids. She liked watching Mama's Family, Are You Being Served, and QVC. She enjoyed teaching preschool and working with disabled children when she lived in Decatur. She also enjoyed working at the hospital with all of her friends in Olney. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Edward Lee Ault of Olney; son, Jerry Trosper and Audrey; daughter, Patsy Magana; daughter, Linda Trosper; daughter, Gloria Ault; daughter, Vicky Ault; daughter, Kimberly Baker and Terry; grandkids, Shannon, Nick, Lana, John, James, Lori, Andrea, Aaron, Audra, Adrianna, and 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father, one brother, Robert Shannon,two sisters,Barbara Lovall and Charlotte Ingram, one granddaughter, Sophie Baker, and one great grandson, Benjamin Trosper.
