  Sarah E. Evans, 77, Effingham, died at 7:35 p.m. Monday at St. Anthony Memorial Hospital. Services will be Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham with Rev. Ron Myer presiding. Burial will be in Oakridge Cemetery. Mrs. Evans was born in Olney March 22, 1905, the daughter of Joseph and Mary E. (Elwood) Berry. She married Robert B. Evans and he survives. She worked for 15 years as an LPN at the Mattoon Hospital. Other survivors include two sons, James S., Effingham, and John R., Pocatell, Idaho; two brothers, Lyman and Robert E. Berry, both of Olney.
