  Larry Jay Stanley, 83 of Hot Springs Village, AR passed away on Sunday, March 20th, 2022 in Arkansas. Larry was born May 17, 1938 in Ingraham to Jay and Mary (Hackney) Stanley. He attended Ingraham Grade School and graduated from the Newton High School in 1956. Larry marries Betty Joanne Tadlock on November 8, 1959. They shared 62 years of marriage together. Larry is well known in the Flora Community where he owned and operated several businesses over the years. Starting with the Tasty Freeze on the East end to the True Value then lastly the Snack Shack. He retired from ABF trucking then worked part time for CVS and Save Mor Pharmacy where he delivered medications to the residents of Clay County. He is survived by his wife Betty, a daughter Kathy Gadway of North Salem, NY a son Troy (Susie) Stanley of Plano, TX, grandsons Josh (Luxi) Stanley and Larry Jay Stanley of Plano, TX. A great grandson Michael Isaiah Stanley of Plano, TX. He is also survived by brothers Donald (Elda) Stanley and Jerry (Martha) Stanley of Ingraham. Sisters in law Kay (Jerry) Banhart of Florida, and Denise Tadlock of Flora. Several nieces and nephews and other family. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister/brother in law Maxine and Harold Brooks, a brother Dale Stanley, brother in law Larry Tadlock and father in law/mother in law Buster and Faye Tadlock. A celebration of life service for Larry Jay Stanley will be held at a later date at the Community of Christ Church in Flora.
