  George Hohlbaugh, 86, went home to be with the Lord August 24, 1988. He was a charter member of Akron Springfield Assembly of God Church, and had retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in 1965. Preceded in death by wife, Alice Ree; daughters, Faye Cosmos and Grace Austin, he is survived by wife Ruby; sons, Paul of Guy, Texas, David of Akron; daughters, Doris Orndorff of Hartville, Sue Harris of Huntsville, Texas; brother, Lee of Illinois; sister, Helen McMahon of New Jersey; 20 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren. Friends may call at Hecker Funeral Home in Uniontown, today, 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral services Saturday, 11 a.m., at Akron Springfield Assembly of God Church, 1511 Canton Rd., Akron, Ohio 44312, Rev. Joseph Serbin officiating. Interment Hillside Memorial Park.
