  Extracted from obituary in the Wayne County Press, 11/8/1956: Mrs. Ben [Mary] Gray, 82, died. They moved to Flora 1916. Mary Carver Gray born Muhlenburg Co., Ky. May 17, 1874. Married Ben Gray 1894. 10 children. 4, Corrine, Zula , Glenn and John have died. Mr. Gray died 9 years ago. Leaves 6 children. Mrs. Roy Roundtree of Fairfield, Mrs. Lonnie Ginther of Aurora, Mrs. Mary Cullum of Pasadena, CA. Louis of Lebanon. Mrs. Eva Holmes of Urbana and Paul of Flora. Also grandson, Clifford Golden of Lawrenceville who she raised. One brother Buddy Carver and a sister Rena both of Ky.
