    • Oscar Donald Pitcher Cedar Lake, IN Oscar Donald Pitcher, 74, of Cedar Lake, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2003 in Florida. He is survived by two sons Donald Wayne (Marie) Pitcher of Elizabethtown, KY and Richard Lane (Linda) Pitcher of St. John, IN; one daughter, Pamela Ann (Mark) Goess of Lake Grove, New York; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Lorene "Cindy" Pitcher. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 30, 2003 at the Burdan Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Shanahan officiating. Burial to follow at Chapel Lawn Cemetery, Schererville, IN. Friends may meet with the family on Monday, December 29th, from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Burdan Funeral Home (corner of Rt 41 & 129th Ave.), Cedar Lake, Indiana. Don was a member of American Legion Post 261 of Cedar Lake; also a member of the Indiana International Hod Carriers and Labor Union Local 81.
