  Mrs. Phebe Elizabeth Gerber, age 67, the widow of David Gerber of German township, died last Thursday at the Summers Clinic. She was a life-long resident of Richland County. She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Elva Woods of Sumner, Clarence Gerber of Olney, Mrs. Lottie Griesemer of Sumner, Roy Gerber of Stockton, CA, Raymond Gerber of Gary, IN., Mrs. Edna Level of Sumner, Lester Gerber of Olney, Robert Gerber of Claremont, Carl Gerber of Olney and Miss Catherine Gerber of Claremont. Also surviving are two brothers, Robert Sager of Olney and John Sager of Mirando, CA, and one sister, Mrs. Clara Roth of Olney. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the St. James Lutheran church with Rev. Fred Heckathorn in charge and burial was in the Goss cemetery, under the direction of the Summers Funeral Home.
