  Mrs. Clara A. Roth, age 77, a former resident of the Stringtown community and later a resident of 126 E. Butler St., passed away early this morning at Richland Memorial Hospital, following a lengthy illness. A native of Richland County, Mrs. Roth was the daughter of Reuben Sager and Catherine Smith Sager. She was married to Anthony J. Roth in Olney on July 24, 1911. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church at Stringtown and attended St. Joseph's Church in Olney while a resident here. She was a fifty-year member of the Christian Mothers Organization. She was also a member of Chapter No. 407 of the Women of the Moose. She leaves her husband and five children: Lawrence Roth, Mrs. Boniface (Bernice) Ochs and Mrs. Kenneth (Rosemary) Stangle Sr. all of Olney, Ernest Roth and Elva Roth both of Hammond, Indiana. There are 21 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. She also leaves a brother, Robert Sager of Olney. She was preceded in death by her parents and infant daughter, three sisters and two brothers.
