  Margaret Billington, age 93, of Flora, Illinois, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2015, at Good Samaritan Regional Health Center in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Margaret was born December 28, 1921, in Flora to Frank Engelmeier Sr. and Ellen Elizabeth (Dunigan) Engelmeier. She was employed by Andy’s Market for many years and was a member of Oak Street Southern Baptist Church. Margaret enjoyed time with her grandchildren and looked forward to Sunday morning church services at Flora Gardens Care Center. She is survived by her daughter: Mary Ellen (husband Terry) Gidcumb; grandson: Chad (wife Susan) King; great-grandson: Vince (wife Danielle) King; brother: Harvey (wife Jean) Engelmeier; sister: Bernadine Landreth; sister-in-law: Dorothy Engelmeier; and nephew: Mike (wife Kris) Engelmeier. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother: Frank Engelmeier; and sister: Evelyn Engelmeier. A funeral service for Margaret Billington was held at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora. Interment was in Elmwood Cemetery. Memorial donations were suggested to Oak Street Southern Baptist Church.
