  Leona Grace Slagley, 91, formerly of Louisville, died February 24, 2005, in Edwardsville, IL. Mrs. Slagley was born July 29, 1913, the daughter of Ray and O'Dessia Kistner Bryant. She married Lowell Slagley December 31, 1937 and he preceded her in death in December, 1981. She was a homemaker, a member of Louisville United Methodist Church and a long time member of the Rebekah Lodge. Survivors include a daughter, Mary Nall; three brothers, Dean, Jean, and Ray Bryant; two grandchildren; and two grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, infant daughter, Wanda Eileen; daughter, Shirley Peavler; a brother, Oscar Bryant; and a sister, Dorothea McHenry. Funeral services were held at Neal Funeral Home with burial in Orchard Hill Cemetery in Louisville.
