  John R. Cantrell, 54, of Plainfield, Ind., and formerly of Olney, died at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, August 24, 2011, at his family's residence. Mr. Cantrell was born February 17, 1957, in Olney, the son of Gilbert and Joanne (Fisk) Cantrell. He first married Carla Ely. He then married Anna Tucker. They both survive. He was a truck driver. Mr. Cantrell is survived by his wife, Anna Cantrell, of Plainfield, Ind.; daughter, April Bassett and husband, Gary, of Camby, Ind.; son, Kevin Cantrell, of Olney; daughter, Christy Cantrell, of Olney; stepson, James Hunter, of Corbin, Ky.; sister, Carol Ledeker and husband, Lee, of Racine, Wis.; sister, Margaret Tennyson and husband, Dennis, of Olney; sister, Mary Lou VanMatre and husband, Mike, of Olney; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Joanna Cantrell.
