- Imogene Clark, 94, of Olney, and formerly of Calhoun, died at 10:58 a.m. Saturday August 17, 2013 at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 22 at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney with Reverend Bob Patterson and Pastor Eunice Glasser officiating. Burial will be in Calhoun Cemetery.
Imogene Clark was born on February 21, 1919 in Wheatland, Indiana, the daughter of William and Elizabeth Lagle. She married James Andrew Clark and he preceded her in death on June 21, 1970.
Imogene was an artist, she loved to draw and she made silk flower arrangements. Imogene was active in her church and taught bible school for many years. She loved her church family. Imogene was a wonderful lady, she was giving and loving. She enjoyed spending time with her family, whom she loved most of all.
She is survived by her Daughter, Joyce Price and best friend Dave Leaf of Calhoun; Daughter, Dorothy Fawkes of Calhoun; Half-Sister, Martha Haerr of Taylorville, IL; Grandchildren, Jim Clark and friend Pam Goss of Calhoun, Lori Macek and husband Jeff of Oklahoma City, OK, Jerry Wayne Price and wife Kathy of Rinard, IL, Donita Byford and husband Bill of Olney, James Price of Olney; Great Grandchildren, J.R. Price of Rinard, IL, Julie Zimmerman of Clay City, Jessica Crawford of Cisne, IL, Michael Byford and Riley Byford of Olney, Megan Macek and Nicholas Macek of Oklahoma City, OK, Megan Weiss and Jamie Price of Dupo, IL; and six Great Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Wanda Clark, brothers, Billy Lagle and Roy Lagle, sisters, Zola Fitzwater and Beulah Matheson, grandchildren, Don Owen, Lewis Price, and great granddaughter, Gloria Clark.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
