- Billy Neal Cleaver, 75, of Calhoun, died Friday, May 3, 2013, at his residence.
Funeral services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney with Reverend Mike Baker officiating. Burial in Crest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery in rural Claremont with full military rites at the graveside.
Mr. Cleaver was born May 28, 1937, in Calhoun, the son of William and Lela (Peer) Cleaver. He married Mary Ann Fritchley. She preceded in in death on Sept. 27, 2002.
He was a retired Conservation Officer for the State of Illinois. Billy loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing.
Mr. Cleaver is survived by Patricia Thomas, of Calhoun; daughter, Melody Hardy and husband Mike, of Olney; son, Wade Neal and wife Becky, of Wooster, Ohio; stepdaughters, Brenda Lynn Neal, and Judith Ranea and husband Ron, of Springfield; 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; and brother, Wendell Cleaver and wife Phyllis, of Mobile, Ala.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Fritchley Cleaver, parents, William and Lela Peer Cleaver, and stepson, Danny Lee Feldman.
