Notes - He was a retired carpenter and building contractor in and around the Richland County area. He was a member of Noble United Methodist Church and he had a close affiliation with Cornerstone Community Church in Noble. He was a Carpenters Mate Second Class in the Seabees, a division of the. U.S. Navy during World War H stationed on Johnston Island in the South Pacific. He was a member of American Legion and VFW for many years.
