• Notes

  Andrew George, Xenia area, enlisted in Co. G 21st Illinois. He had married Rebecca Griffin October 24, 1850. Rebecca died November 15, 1855. On March 9, 1857, a daughter at the age of 4 died, named America George. Andrew was elected Captain of his company. He was wounded at Chickamuga September 19, 1863 and was sent home on leave.
