  Bluford Hall was born in Washington County, Ind., May 16, 1838, died Feb. 9th, 1922. He married Susan A. Patton Sept. 2, 1858. To this union seven children were born. His wife and three of them having preceded him to the better world. He was a veteran of the Civil War, belonging to Co. A, 58th Regiment Ind. Vol. He was a kind and loving husband and father and liked by all who knew him. He was always a hard working, honest man and lived up to the Golden Rule "Do unto others as ye would that they should do unto you". The four surviving children are Laura Grimes, Lenora Barton, of Flora, and Minnie Lanahan, of St. Louis, Mo., Ben F. Hall, of Flora. He also leaves two brothers. Dr. Iva Hall, of Campbellsburg, Ind., and Jonah Hall, Flora, III. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. G. W. Zink, pastor of the Flora Christian Church, from the family home two and one half miles northwest of this city on Saturday afternoon, Feb. 11, at 2 o'clock. Interment at Elmwood cemetery.
