- Allen Landreth is the son of John Landreth and Rebecca Ward. He married Rachel Armstrong.
At the time of the 1880 Census Allen and Rachel Landreth were living in Larkinsburg township, Clay county, Illinois. Besides his three children with Rachel, Mary, George and David Landreth, also living in his home were three step-daughters, Esther Lawrence, age 10; Della Spaulding, age 5; and Gracey C. Spaulding, age 3. All three were born in Illinois. Allen was a farmer.
(Rachel's maiden name was Bolejack. )
