  ELEANOR FAY McCRACKEN, 83 of Cisne, IL passed away at 8:15PM Monday, March 9, 2009 at her home. Eleanor was born February 12, 1926 at Akron, Oh to Ray and Bonnie (Brinker) Williams. She married Eugene McCracken June 3, 1942 at St. Louis, MO. He preceded her in death June 3, 1996. She taught 1 year at Mann School; worked at the International Shoe Factory in Flora, Il and also worked 8 years at Fairfield Sewing Factory. She was a homemaker and a member of Maple Leaf Lake at Enterprise, IL and a member of the Christian Faith. Surviving Eleanor is 1 son Albert Ray McCracken (& his wife Eva) of Cisne, IL; 5 grandchildren – Candy Ray (& her husband Dan) of Geff, IL; Jennifer Harvey (& her husband Patrick) of Fairfield, IL; Julie Williams (& her husband Scott) of Olney, IL; Keri VanZee (& her husband Ken) of Hiawatha, IA; and David Wendling (& his wife Karrie) of Coon Rapids, MN; 8 great grandchildren Derek Ray (& his wife Amber) of Mill Shoals, IL; Tiffany Ray of Geff, IL; Michael Lane Harvey of Fairfield, IL; Dyllan Williams of Olney, IL; Jaret & Isaac VanZee of Hiawatha, IA and Benjamin and Natalie Wendling of Coon Rapids, MN. Preceding her in death were 1 daughter Donna Jean Wendling, 1 brother Gary Williams, her husband and her parents. Funeral services for Eleanor McCracken will be Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 10:00AM at Hosselton Funeral Home, Cisne, IL. Burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery at Fairfield, IL. Friends may call 6-8PM Friday, March 13th and then again Saturday from 9AM until the time of service. Memorials may be given to Mt. Erie Christian Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
