  Lulu Mae Hadley's parents were William Savannah and Phoneta Mohr Hadley. She had a brother named Frank William Hadley. Her grandfather was Dr. Sherman J Hadley and her grandmother was Susan Bull Hadley. Lulu Mae married several times. Her first marriage was to Bayard Laverne Taylor. His parents were W.H. and Grace Taylor who both immigrated to the USA from Ireland. Lulu and Bayard married in 1903. They had one daughter Dorothy Kathryn Taylor who was born April 17th, 1904. Bayard died of tuberculosis in El Paso, Texas on November 2nd, 1905. Lulu next married Orville Scott Strain. They married in Omaha in May of 1907. During the years between Lulu's first and second marriages Dorothy lived with her maternal grandparents in Arlington, Nebraska. Orville Scott Strain was the son of Walter and Eliza Strain. Orville was a daper man but he and Lulu didn't remain married long. This was both Orville and Lulu's second marriages. Orville moved to Los Angeles and married at least once more. Lulu and Orville did not have any children. Lulu's third marriage was to Vivian Warren Boyles known as V Warren Boyles. They married in Omaha May of 1914. V Warren and his brother Horace Brainard Boyles were extremely successful proprietors of Boyles Business School located at 1805 Harney St in Omaha. Lulu and Dorothy lived with V Warren in a very exclusive area. Their address is 306 south 57th st. The home still stands and Lulu had a live-in maid to help with Dorothy. Unfortunately V Warren died in 1943. Lulu's final marriage was to Alvin Frederick Bloom. They married in Omaha in June of 1951. Alvin and his family were the proprietors of J F Bloom and Company. The company is still manufacturing headstones and cemetery monuments in Omaha today. Alvin died in 1972 and Lulu never remarried. Lulu's daughter Dorothy Kathryn Taylor married Jack Thornton Morris. Dorothy Morris died in 1971. Lulu is buried in the Boyles Family lot in the Masonic Section of Forest Lawn Cemetery which is only fitting as her Grandfather Dr. Sherman Hadley was a Mason of high standing and had been the Master of Albion Lodge # 97 in Indiana in 1870. Lulu is buried with her third husband V Warren Boyles, brother-in-law Horace Brainard Boyles, her daughter Dorothy Taylor Morris and her son-in-law Jack Thornton Morris. Bio by: KDQ
