  Columbus Republic 13 Aug 1979 Rachael Abbott 407 S. Gladstone Rachael Ann Abbott, 85, a resident of Kennedy Trailer Park at 407 S. Gladstone, was found dead at her home at 11 a.m. Saturday. It is believed she suffered a coronary attack a few hours earlier. Funeral service will be conducted by the Rev. J. Edward Quick at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Summers Funeral Home, Olney, Ill., where persons may call tonight. Burial will be at Haven Hill Cemetery there. Barkes, Inlow and Weaver Funeral Home made local arrangements. Mrs. Abbott was born June 8, 1894, in Illinois, the daughter of John and Fannie Holder Persinger. She was married to Clyde Abbott who died. She lived most of her life in the Richland County, Ill., area. A Columbus resident previously, she attended East Columbus United Methodist Church since her return here in March. Survivors include a brother and sister, Ralph Persinger and Tillie Sly, both of Walkerton.
