Notes - Monica Hance, 49, of Clay City died Monday March 21, 1994 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Ind.
Funeral services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Clay City with Rev. Brad Harris and Charles Allen officiating. Burial in the Clay City Cemetery.
Hance was born December 9, 1944 in Olney, the daughter of Thomas and Dorris Wells Nickells. She married James Hance on July 5, 1961 in Olney. He died November 19, 1989.
She worked at Richland Memorial Hospital in medical records. She was a member of the Clay City Baptist Church and was also a member of the Clay City Rebekah Lodge.
She is survived by her mother, Dorris Nickells of Olney; her grandmother, Mattie Wells of Olney; two sons, James Hance Jr. of Punta Gorda, Fla. and Shawn Hance of Clay City; three brothers, Bud Nickells of Island, Ky., George Nickells of Vincennes, Ind. and T.J. Nickells of Olney; and two grandchildren.
Hance was preceded in death by her husband and father.
