  Roger Dale Hance, 70, of Clay City, died on Wednesday November 18, 2020 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Indiana. Roger was born on May 5, 1950 in Clay County, Illinois, the son of Harry James Hance and Norma Genelle (Abbott). He married Deborah (Shock) on June 9, 1968 in Clay City, and she survives. Roger started Hance's Paint and Drywall over 36 years ago with his dad, and it has gone on for three generations, currently being managed by his sons. He loved to coon hunt with his dogs and fish with his family and friends. Roger loved spending time with his family, and he will be missed by all those that knew him. Roger is survived by his wife; Sons, Kelly (Amy) Hance and Kyle (Ronda) Hance; Grandchildren, Keenan (Lucy) Hance, Kaden Hance, Bryce Hance, Trenton Hance; Great Grandson, Everest Hance; several brother and sister in-laws, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and four siblings. Cremation Rites were accorded.
