    • Willard E. "Jack" Harris, 85, of Crown Point, IN, died March 3, 2006.

      Mr. Harris was a charter member of Ambridge Methodist church in Gary, IN, and a member of First United Methodist Church of Crown Point, IN.

      He was retired after 40 years as a structural fitter for American Bridge Co., and a retired custodian of the elementary school in Crown Point, IN.

      Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Yvonne; a son, David Harris; a daughtter, Linda Moyer; a sister, Evelyn Davis; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

      Preceding him in death were his parents, Charles and Mina Harris; two brothers, Charles and Max Harris; two sisters, Naomi Lou and Norma Lee Harris; and a son, Larry Harris.

      Funeral services were held at First United Methodist Church in Crown Point with burial in Hoosier Prairie Cemetery in Louisville, IL.

      Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of Crown Point, IN.

      Pruzin and Little Funeral Home was in charge.
