  Shelby James Hartleroad, 77 Shelby James Hartleroad, 77, of Clay City, formerly of Noble, died at 5:02 p.m. Thursday, October 30, 2003, at his residence. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Noble. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with Brother Jim Thomas officiating. Burial with full military rites will be in Hanna Cemetery in rural Noble. Mr. Hartleroad was born on May 25, 1926, in Jasper County, the son of James and Zennie (Thacker) Hartleroad. He married Gladys Smith on July 3, 1948. She preceded him in death on June 1, 1999. He was an oil-field truck driver and a member of Glenwood Church. Mr. Hartleroad is survived by a son, Danny Hartleroad and his wife, Barbara, of Noble; a grandson, Scott Hartleroad and his wife, LeAnn, of Olney; a granddaughter, Joy Keys and her husband, Andy, of Olney; three great-grandchildren, Joshua and Hannah Hartleroad and James Brewer; and two sisters, Charlene Woods, of Newton, and Marjorie Hardin, of Belleville.
