- Carol Ina Brown, 46, 801 North Ave., was found dead at her home Friday morning July 23, 1982, apparently of natural causes.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Summers Funeral Home with Revs. Lowell McDowell and Bill Rennels presiding.
Burial is in Greenhill Cemetery.
She was born in Minonk, Nov. 28, 1935 to Everett Vernon and Inez (Fulk) Burgin. She married Hugh LeRoy Brown Sept. 27, 1961. He preceded her in death on May 10, 1973. She was a dietician at the Burgin Nursing Home.
She is survived by four sons, Kevin, Korea; William, John and Christie, all of Olney; two brothers, Warren and Gary Burgin, both of Olney; four sisters, Una Tarpley, Alice Coldwell and Diana Beasley, all of Olney, and Mary Hendricks, Cisne; a step-sister, Marjorie York, Peoria; mother and step-father, Inez and Doyle McKinney, Olney; a grandson, financee, Don Ellis, Flora; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Everett Jr.
