Margaret B. Ross, 95, of Clay City, IL died at 11:35 AM Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at Flora Gardens Care Center in Flora, IL.
She was born March 23, 1914 in Wayne County, IL to Frank K. & Bernice B. (Toliver) Wilson. She married Gerald E. Ross on November 3, 1933. He preceded her in death on July 14, 1974.
Margaret was a homemaker, a member of the Clay City First Baptist Church, and she was an avid Cubs fan, and Illinois fan, and she loved her dogs.
She is survived by her daughter: Judy Gibbs & husband Ronnie of Clay City; 4 grandchildren: Vonda (Charlie) Amburgy of Marshall, Charles (Krysty) Walden of Flora, John (Erica) of Flora, Lora (Ray) Phillips of Flora; 1 brother: Jack Wilson of Springfield; 1 sister: Mildred Finn of Newton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 5 brothers (Charles, Ralph, Robert, Eldon & Richard Ross), 3 sisters (Mary Young, Martha Wilson).
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday (Dec 29, 2009) at Frank & Bright Funeral Home with Pastor Brad Harris officiating. Burial will be in Clay City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Monday.
Margaret married Ross, Gerald Eugene on 5 Aug 1945. Gerald was born on 25 Jun 1910 in Montrose, Effingham County, Illinois; died on 14 Jul 1974 in Marion, Williamson County, Illinois; was buried in Clay City Cemetery, Clay City, Clay County, Illinois. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
