Notes: Lois was born Feb. 22, 1936, in Flora, Ill., to Myrel Victor and Freda Louveda Vail Wheeler, and died Friday, Feb. 9, 2007, at her home. Lois grew up and attended school in the Flora area. She worked for the Four Sisters Sewing Machine Company. Later in the 1950's Lois worked cutting broom corn and picking cotton. On Sept. 29, 1953, she married Joseph D. Eastin in Shawneetown, Ill. Together in the 1950's they opened up and operated the Little Diner in Flora. It was in operation for about 5 years. They then moved to Enid in the 1970's where Lois helped open and operate Lot-a-Burger. They also operated the Nashville Tavern for 5 years. She was the record keeper for her husbands Oil Field Exploration business which was a sub-contractor for a larger oil business. Lois was a member of the American Legion Auxillary and was active in supporting military functions, played bingo, worked at crafting and loved computer games. She is survived by 2 daughters and a son, 3 sisters, 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Lois was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a brother, and a sister. Notes: Troy had worked at Flora Lumber Yard, Southwire, and most recently at North American Lighting in Flora. He was a former President of the Flora Eagles. Troy was very handy and could fix mostly anything, especially when it came to remodeling homes or working on derby and race cars. He enjoyed being outdoors, bow hunting, going to the races, and was a die-hard St. Louis Cardinal and Dallas Cowboys fan. Family was very important to Troy and he was looking forward to meeting his soon-to-come first grandchild.
