    Galen Frank, 49, of Clay City, died Saturday at his home.

    Funeral services were held in the Cardascio-Easley Funeral Home, Clay City, with burial in Smith Cemetery, near Clay City, with full military rites.

    Mr. Frank was born in Clay County, son of Samuel and Mary Frank. He was a member of the
    Clay City Baptist Church, a veteran of World War II and a member of the Flora VFW.

    He married Patsy McBride.

    Surving are his wife; sons, Bill, Sam, Christopher, Richard all at home; David of Olney; daughters, Debra, Naomi, and Candra, all at home; brothers, Robert of Phoenix, Ariz.; Sam Jr. of Decatur; sisters, Mrs. Alberta Gumble of Louisville; Mrs. Bonnie Gill of Clay City; Mrs. Blanche Crouse of New Concord, Ohio; Mrs. Kathryn Milner of San Diego, Calif.; Mrs. Faye Franklin of Flora; Mrs. Deanne Moseley of Urbana: Mrs. Mary Hulsey of St. Louis, Mo.; Shirley Schnautz of Clay City; three grandchildren.

    One daughter and one brother preceded him in death.

    Notes:

    David Kent Frank, 70, of Evansville, IN, passed away Friday, March 31, 2017, at his home in Evansville. He was born March 9, 1947, in Clay City, IL, to the late Galen Frank and Inez (Holcomb) Neumann.

    He earned his Real Estate license in 1995 at the University of Evansville, and his Associates Degree at IECC. Dave served his country in the U.S. Army on the European front. He was an avid scuba diver and enjoyed fishing with his grandkids. You would often find Dave tinkering on his truck, boating and water skiing. He was also known for his love of animals. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved joking with his grandkids, and he always looked forward to his daily lunches with his daughter, Brittany.

    Dave was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Tabitha Frank; sisters, Beverly and Debbie Frank; niece, Sondra Schnepper; and best friend, James Partridge.

    He is survived by sons, Kristo Altenon, Michael Frank (Kathy), Jason Frank; and daughters, Felicity Olivier (Tom) and Brittany Frank. Dave was married to Rose Dulaney of Flora, IL and later to his life-long companion, Crystal Frank. He is also survived by grandchildren, Trenton Frank, Garrett Frank, Vincent Frank, Blaise Roberts, Trishton Olivier, Aussie Olivier; great grandkids, Chandler and Blaise, Jr.; and brothers, Paul Neumann, Sam Frank, Bill Frank, Chris Frank, Richard Frank, Candra Frank; and sister, Naomi Frank Bangert.

    Memorial Services will be held 3:00 PM, Saturday, April 8, 2017, at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Clay City, IL, where Military Honors will be performed. Friends may visit 2-3 PM on Saturday at the funeral home. There will be a gathering to celebrate David's life following the services.

    In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.

    A one-year-old girl was killed and five other persons injured in a collision of a compact auto and a farm tractor early Sunday on a Clay City road four miles north of Clay City.

    Sandra Lynn Schnepper is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Schnepper; grandparents, Mrs. Inez Newman, Galen Frank, and Mr. and Mrs. Sam Schnepper, all of Clay City; great-grandparents, Mrs Laura Schnepper of Sailor Springs, Sam Frank of Clay City and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Holcomb of Flora.
    Private funeral services will be held at the Easley-Padgett Funeral
    Home in Clay City. Friends may call at the funeral home.
