    Notes:

    Barbara spent most of her life near Park. She graduated from Bloomfield High School in 1942. She was cashier at Kroger's store in Bloomfield for 3 years, and there a great many friends learned to know and love her. She was kind and courteous to everyone and careful in the performance of her duties.

    She was a regular attendant at the Walnut Grove Sunday School until seven years ago when she suddenly became ill. She never fully recovered from this illness. Among her most treasured keepsakes are a little gold ring and a Bible received from the Sunday School for regular attendance. She took an active part in the young people's activities.

    Died:
    Barbara Frances Hasler, daughter of William and Lieuetta McCain Hasler, was born near Park on March 10, 1924, and departed this life on December 26, 1951 at the age of 27 years, nine months, and 16 days.

    She became unconscious at 10:45 a.m. Christmas morning soon after she had arrived at the home of her Aunt Leola and Uncle Lester where the family had gathered for their annual Christmas dinner. All was done for her that the loving hands of her family and friends, her doctor and nurse could do; but she never regained consciousness. God sent an angel at 4:10 p.m. Wednesday to take a beautiful bud out of our garden of love.
