    Funeral services were conducted today from the Easley Chapel in Clay City, for Edgar Earhart, 83, Clay City, who died at 2:39 p.m. Friday, in the Flora Nursing Center.

    Survivors include his wife, Ella; two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Ashwill, Kokomo, Ind., and Mrs. Verna Warner, Westfield; two sons, Donald of Decatur, and Carl of Bicknell, Ind.; three sisters, Mrs. Bertha Payne, Clay City, Mrs. Laura Brown, Arthur, and Mrs. Emma Brown, Bellflower, Calif; brother Ogie Earhart, Utica; 14 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson; three step-grandchildren and eight step-great-grandchildren.

    Officiating in the final rites was Alex Cavenaile; burial in Clay City cemetery.
