    Marjorie Faye Murbarger, age 88, of Clay City, Illinois, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018. Marjorie had worked as a seamstress at the Genesco Garment Factory in Olney and was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. She loved to quilt and had made quilts for all her children and grandchildren. Marjorie also did volunteer work, making and donating bibs for local nursing homes, and was known for her homemade angel food cakes and loved to dance.

    She is survived by her children: Parvin Murbarger (Carolyn) of Clay City, Deanna Benson (Dave) of Bolingbrook, Sharon David of Cisne, and Eunice Heusack (Mike) of St. Louis; six grandchildren: Anthony Rutt, Debra Fehrenbacher, Ryan Fehrenbacher, Aaron Williams, Amanda Dees, and Marty David; nine great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law: Retha Murbarger; and one brother-in-law: Neal Murbarger.

    Marjorie married Murbarger, Carroll David on 29 Sep 1950 in Fairfield, Wayne County, Illinois. Carroll (son of Murbarger, David and Patridge, Bertha) was born on 5 Sep 1921 in Clay County, Illinois; died on 23 Sep 1987 in Clay City, Clay County, Illinois; was buried in Clay City Cemetery, Clay City, Clay County, Illinois.
