She cherished time spent vacationing across the U.S. with Eath and enjoyed taking their grandkids on vacations and camping trips. She was baptized at the Clay City Christian Church where she had been a lifelong member. Retha will be remembered as a caring mother who cooked many wonderful meals for her family and friends.

    He was born July 15, 1924, in Cisne, IL; the son of Creed G. & Agnes McCracken Perry. He married Blanche Scheetz in 1946 in Enterprise.

    He was a truck driver for Caterpillar in Aurora. He was a World War II & Korean War Veteran, a member of the D.A.V. & the Cisne American legion.

    Surviving is his wife; four sons, Rick, Jim, Gary, and Harold; a daughter, Pamela Perry; six sisters, Mary Lou Platte, Audra Kunce, Ruth Bowen, Darlene Leathers, Magdeline Krutsinger, and Sandra Blohm; a brother, Creed Leon Perry; and eight grandchildren.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, two infant brothers, and one sister.

    Services were at the Hosselton, Bookhout & Englemeier Funeral Home with burial in Elmwood Cemetery.

    Notes: Mark Allen Courtright, 55, was called home to be with his Lord on Wednesday morning, June 26, 2013 at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, TN.
    Mark was a devoted Christian and member of North Tenth St. Baptist Church. He was born in Fairfield, IL and relocated to Blytheville, AR where he married Deborah Smith on August 11, 1988. The two combined each of their two children, had a fifth, and molded them into a unique and amazing family.
    Mark gave 23 years of service to Nucor Yamato, loved his St. Louis Cardinals and his Harley motorcycle. You may have even seen him riding around town last Wednesday. However, Mark should be remembered for his greatest accomplishment, which was crafting a wonderful life for everyone he loved.
