Deployed with his unit to the Pacific Theater of Operations. Earned The American Campaign Medal, The Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with 2 bronze battle stars and The WWII Victory Medal. Honorable discharge as a Machinist's Mate 2nd Class on 19 January 1945 at Great Lakes, Illinois.
