Always interested in the affairs of the community, Mr. Bangert had served as the Road Commissioner of Pixley township for 22 years. He had maintained other interests in the community. He was a long time member of Holy Cross Church at Wendelin.

William J. Bangert, age 75, well known and respected citizen of the Ingraham community, passed away early Sunday morning at the Burgin Nursing Manor, where he had been a resident for the past two weeks.
