Departed the Continental U.S. on 15 March 1944 bound for the Pacific Theater of Operations. Served with the 716th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Searchlight Battery. Earned The American Campaign Medal, The Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal And The WWII Victory Medal. Honorably discharged as a Private on 17 February 1945 at the Separation Center, Fort Sheridan, Illinois.
