    Notes:

    Rosetta Adams, 94, of Mason, Illinois passed away at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, June 16, 2013, at her daughter's home in Flora, Illinois.

    Arrangements are being handled by J.W. Neal Funeral Home in Louisville, Illinois where the family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m. today, June 18. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Daryl George officiating. Interment will be in Old Union Cemetery, Louisville.

    Memorials may be made to the Clay County Hospice or the Hord Congregational Christian Church and will be received at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.jwnealfuneralhome.net.

    Rosetta was born April 11, 1919, in Hord, Illinois the daughter of Victor Oval and Daphne (Kesterson) Eytchison. She was united in marriage with Leonard Adams on Feb. 17, 1937, in Tuscola, Illinois.

    She was employed for 30 years by Fedders Inc. in Effingham, Illinois and was a member of Hord Congregational Christian Church.

    She is survived by her daughter, Betty Wilson (husband, Stacey) of Flora, Illinois; granddaughters, Gina Michels of Clay City, Illinois; and Jill McNeely of Cisne, Illinois; and their father, Gerald McNeely of Effingham, Illinois; and great-grandchildren, Logan Michels of Clay City, Illinois and Quade Coble of Fort Benning, Georgia.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Daphne Eytchison; husband, Leonard Adams; infant son, Billy Lynn Adams; and brothers, Vernon and Paul Eytchison.

    Vernon L. "Ike" Eytchison, 82, of Frederick, Md., formerly of both Silver Spring and Bethesda, Md., died Monday, April 23, 2007, at Homewood at Crumland Farms, Frederick, Md.

    A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday in the chapel at Homewood at Crumland Farms, 7407 Willow Road, Frederick, Md., with the Rev. Beverly Stang officiating.

    In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to U.S. Synchronized Swimming Foundation, 201 S. Capitol Ave., Suite 901, Indianapolis, IN 46225.

    Arrangements are by Stauffer Funeral Home, Frederick, Md.

    Military Service:
    Entered active service as a draftee on February 9, 1943 at Chicago, Illinois. Completed basic training and qualified as a cryptographic technician, military occupational specialty 805. Departed the U.S. on December 15, 1944 bound for the Atlantic Theater of Operations. Earned The Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal and The WWII Victory Medal. Honorably discharged from the 785th Army Air Forces Base Unit as a Sergeant on March 19, 1946 at the Separation Center, Jefferson Barracks, Missouri.
