    per Grandpa Emery Pugh - Uncle Wilf killed himself with a gunshot. He was found at James Mattison's by Don Merrihew and Bonnie (Dugan) Sefton and Samuel Sefton. Wilf's dog would not let anyone get close to the body.
    Wilf was divorced from his first wife.

    Esther May Colclasure Leathers Heninger.

    Esther May Heninger, 87, of Flora, IL, died September 19, 2004, at Clay County Hospital in Flora.

    Mrs. Heninger was born July 16, 1917, in Xenia, the daughter of Floyd W. and Flaura Mae Woods Colclasure. She married William H. Heninger September 24, 1951 in Flora.

    She was a homemaker and a cook at local restaurants, and a member of First Christian Church in Flora. She loved her family and friends, and especially enjoyed cooking for her family gatherings.

    Survivors include her husband; two dons. Charles and Stan Leathers; a brother,Lloyd Colclasure; a sister, Naomi Tackitt; five grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren.

    Preceding her in death were her parents; son, Ted Leathers; a grandson, Steve; two brothers, Chester and Delbert Colclasure; and two sisters, Frieda Zimmerman and Ilene Farmer.

    Funeral services were held at Frank and Bright funeral Home with burial in Oak Mound Cemetery in Xenia.

    Mrs. Naomi R. Tackitt, age 89, died at 7:20a.m., Tuesday, August 20, 2013, at the Flora Rehab & Health Care Center, in Flora.

    Naomi was born on February 13, 1924, in Xenia, IL. Her parents were the late Floyd & Flaura (Woods) Colclasure.

    On January 4, 1941, she married James W. Tackitt.

    Mrs. Tackitt loved the Lord, her family and the Oak Street Baptist Church in Flora. She took part in raising several of her grandchildren. Naomi loved to cook and did a lot of canning and made a mean blackberry cobbler. She was also an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.

    Naomi is survived by her husband, James W. Tackitt, two daughters, Ruth Trowbridge, Breneda Johnson and one son Lester Tackitt. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, Eleven great-grandchildren, Eleven great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces & nephews.

    Naomi was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Chester (Chick) Colclasure, Lloyd Colclasure, and Delbert Colclasure, and three sisters, Esther Heninger, Frieda Zimmerman, and Ilene Farmer.

    Funeral services were held at Oak Street Baptist Church in Flora.

    Interment followed at Oak Mound Cemetery in Xenia, IL.

    Byrd and Kohn Funeral Home was in charge.

    Expressions of Sympathy should take the form of donations to the Flora Rehab & Health Care Center Activity Fund or Oak Street Baptist Church in Flora.
