    Notes:

    William H. Heninger, 87, of Flora, IL died at 7:50 PM Friday, April 29, 2011 at Flora Health Care Center in Flora.

    He was born August 25, 1923 in Xenia, IL to Richard Ellis & Bertha May (Rush) Heninger. He married Esther Mae Colclasure Leathers on September 24, 1951 in Flora. She preceded him on September 19, 2004.

    Mr. Heninger was an oil field worker, also worked for Valley Steel, was a member of First Christian Church of Flora, and served in the medical corps in the U.S. Army during WWII earning 2 bronze stars.

    He is survived by 2 sons: Charles (Jackie) Leathers of Flora and Stanley (Janet) Leathers of Marion, OH; 5 grandchildren: Clayton (Teri) Leathers of Salem, Blake Leathers of Flora, Debbie (Kelly) Dannells of Flora, Jeff Leathers of Virginia Beach, VA, Rodney Leathers of Marion, OH; along with several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

    Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Wednesday (May 4, 2011) at Frank & Bright Funeral Home with military honors presented at the conclusion of the service.

    Burial will be in Oak Mound Cemetery, Xenia. Visitation will be from 1 PM until time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.

    Memorials may be made to that of the donor's choice.

    William married Colclasure, Esther May on 24 Sep 1951 in Flora, Clay County, Illinois. Esther (daughter of Colclasure, Floyd W. and Woods, Flaura Mae) was born on 16 Jul 1917 in Clay County, Illinois; died on 19 Sep 2004; was buried in Oak Mound Cemetery, Songer Township, Clay County, Illinois.
