    STERLING-ROCK FALLS - Dorothy M. Baugh, 96, of Sterling-Rock Falls, IL formerly of Springfield, died on Monday, January 30, 2012 at Sterling Pavilion in Sterling, IL. She was born April 5, 1915 in Pawnee, IL to Clinton and Urcle Herdes Nash Sr.

    She is survived by one daughter: Rose M. (John) Grisamore of Springfield; six grandchildren: John Grisamore of Wylie, TX, Rhonda Grisamore of Champaign, Terri McNear of Springfield, James, Tony and Randy Ritz; one sister: Sadie Little of Flora, IL; one brother: Everett (Helen) Nash of Flora, IL and several nieces and nephews .

    She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters: Alberta Clark of Springfield and Hazel Krutsinger of Rock Falls; one brother: Clinton Nash of Xenia, IL; two daughters: Margery Baugh and Marcella D. Ritz and one grandson: Michael D. Grisamore

    She was a member of Elliott Avenue Baptist Church. In 1980 she attended and graduated with her GED at Lawrence Adult School in Springfield. She was an assembler at Sangamo Electric for 35 years retiring in 1978. She worked at Horace Mann for three and a half years, retiring in 1984.

    Visitation: 10:30-11:30 a.m. Friday, February 3, 2012 at Staab Funeral Home.

    Funeral Service: 11:30 a.m. Friday, February 3, 2012 at Staab Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Jackson officiating.

    Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.

    Memorial Contributions may be made to Memorial Medical Center Foundation for the Cardiac Care Department.

    Notes:

    ROCK FALLS - Hazel L. Krutsinger, 90, of Rock Falls, died Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2011, at CGH Medical Center, Sterling. She had worked as an aide at area nursing homes.

    She was born May 4, 1921, in Pawnee, the daughter of Clinton Sr. and Urcle (Herdes) Nash. She married Ivan Krutsinger on Jan. 17, 1942, in St. Louis. He died in 1992.

    Surviving are three sons, Larry (Linda) Krutsinger of Flora, Dale Krutsinger of Sterling and Earl Krutsinger of Rock Falls; two sisters, Dorothy Baugh of Sterling and Sadie Little of Flora; one brother, Everett Nash of Flora; 10 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

    She also was preceded in death by one son, Paul David Krutsinger; one sister, Alberta Clark; and one brother, Clinton Nash Jr.

    Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by the funeral at 11 a.m. Friday at McDonald Funeral Home, 1002 12th Ave., Rock Falls. Burial wail be at Oak Knoll Memorial Park, Sterling.

    Notes:

    Sadie Marie Little, age 92, of Flora, Illinois, passed away early Monday morning, July 20, 2020, at Flora Rehabilitation & Health Care Center.

    She was born October 27, 1927, in Sangamon County, the daughter of Clinton H. and Urcle (Herdes) Nash. She was united in marriage to Leonard Leak on June 27, 1950, in Flora. He preceded her in death September 15, 1954. She later married John H. Little on February 7, 2003, and together they shared 11 wedding anniversaries until his death January 30, 2015.

    Sadie was a caretaker for countless others over the years, and had operated a nursing home at one time. She is remembered for her lively and caring personality, and how she could usually find a positive aspect to offset a negative circumstance.

    She is survived by a son-in-law: Wayne Baker; a granddaughter: Angela (Ben) Baker-Saunders; and great-granddaughters: Annika Baker, Penelope and Flaunianna Samora, and Hazel Saunders; several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews; and many friends at Flora Health Care Center.

    She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; a daughter: Marsha (Leak) Baker; two brothers: Clinton Nash Jr. and Everett E. Nash; and three sisters: Dorothy Baugh, Hazel Krutsinger, and Alberta Clark.

    A graveside ceremony will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, July 23, 2020, at Elmwood Cemetery in Flora, with Brother Jeff Hough officiating. Those attending are asked to go directly to the cemetery.

    Arrangements are in the care of Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora. Memorial donations are suggested to the Flora Rehabilitation & Health Care Center Activity Fund and will be accepted through the funeral home.

    Clinton "Junior" H. Nash, Jr., 81, of Xenia, IL died at 5:43 PM Saturday, August 13, 2011 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN.

    He was born February 9, 1930 in Pawnee County, IL to Clinton H. Nash, Sr. and Urcle (Herdes) Nash. He married Wanda Reddish on March 11, 1952 in Springfield, IL.

    He was an area farmer since 1949, was of the Christian faith, and served in the U.S. Air Force as a Staff Sgt. In the motor pool at Lackland AFB, TX from 1950-1954. He was a past Farm Bureau board member and a member of the Corn and Soybean Association. "Junior" grew up on a farm, was very devoted to his family, and was proud of the family and farm he built. He worked hard with his hands doing all the jobs around the farm, and was always willing to give neighbors a helping hand.

    He is survived by his wife: Wanda Nash; 2 daughters: Linda Hurd and Brenda Crouse; 3 sisters: Dorothy Baugh, Hazel Krutsinger, and Sadie Little; 1 brother: Everett Nash; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.

    He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister (Alberta Clark).

    Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at Frank & Bright Funeral Home, Flora.

    Burial will be in Golden Cemetery, Louisville, with military honors.

    Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

    Mrs. Marcella D. Ritz, 30, of Springfield, died Saturday at St. John's Hospital after being in ill health for some time. She was born on Feb. 17, 1937, at Fancy Creek Township, the daughter of Ray and Dorothy Nash Baugh. She married Harold Ritz in March of 1955.

    Mrs. Ritz was a graduate of Enos Grade School and attended Lanphier High School. A member of the Elliott Avenue Baptist Church, she resided most of her life in Springfield.

    She is survived by her husband, Harold W. of Springfield; one daughter and three sons; sister Mrs. Rose Grisamore; mother Mrs. Dorothy Baugh of Springfield; father Ray Baugh of Missouri.

    Services will be at the Staab Funeral home. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
