Notes: Ralph worked most of his life as an auto-body repairman. He was a perfectionist at his art of restoring cars. Ralph was a WWII Veteran having served in the US Army Air Corps Airborne Troop Carrier Division. He was a patriot and lifetime member of the American Legion and 40 & 8 and served as adjutant of the Legion for 30 years. Even in his retirement he never missed a veteran's funeral service. He was also a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the VFW, Knights of Columbus, The Elks, and The Moose. Ralph was a simple man who enjoyed a good conversation. He was married to his wife Margaret for 70 years and they loved to dance socially at weddings and parties especially the polka. He stayed very active by mowing yards, riding hhis bicycle and dancing well into his nineties. He enjoyed playing pinochle with friends and relatives and a good dinner followed by homemade ice cream. Notes: Mrs. Bahl was born on October 22, 1948, in Richland County, the daughter of Ephraim and Helen (Kocher) Rennier. She married Jerome Ralph Bahl on January 9, 1968. He preceded her in dedath on February 3, 1998. She was a retired beautician and had formerly worked in the bakery at Big Johns. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stringtown. Mrs. Bahl is survived by her son, Daniel Ephraim Bahl and his wife, Kelly, of Olney; brother, Robert Rennier and his wife, Judy, of Olney; brother Melvin Rennier and his wife, Donna, of Claremont; sister, Charlene Schwager, of Flora; sister, Delores Hemrich, of Olney; sister Mary Volk and her husband, Herman, of Claremont; sister, Rita Schafer and her husband, David of Newton; and two grandchildren, Danielle and Hannah. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Brian; daughter, Diane Marie; and three brothers, Richard, Kenneth and James. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stringtown with Rev. Father David Braun officiating. Family/Spouse: Bahl, Jerome Ralph 'Jerry'.
