    Mr. Murbarger was born Sept. 5, 1921 in Clay County the son of David and Bertha (Patridge) Murbarger. He married Marjorie Benskin Sept. 29, 1950 in Wayne County.

    He was retired from AMF/Roadmaster after 17 years. He was a World War II veteran and a member of the Clay City American Legion.

    Survivors include his wife, Marjorie; a son, Parvin Murbarger of Clay City; three daughters, Mrs. David (Deanna) Benson of Hanover Park, Sharon Williams of Flora and Eunice Murbarger of Kirkwood, Mo.; four brothers, Rolla Murbarger of Bethalto, Shelby Murbarger of Effingham, Eath Murbarger of Clay City and Neal Murbarger of Ingraham; two sisters, Mrs. Cecil Staser and Maxine Tibbs, both of Clay City; and four grandchildren.

    Mr. Murbarger was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and a sister.
