Adam E. Noll, 87, of Flora, formerly of Sailor Springs, died January 9, 2000, at Clay County Hospital in Flora, IL.

Mr. Noll was born March 22, 1912 in Clay County, the son of Leo & Effie Payne Noll. He married Berniece Anderson September 14, 1957, in Louisville, she survives.

Mr. Noll was retired from farming.

He is survived by his wife; step-sons Russel Patridge & Ray Patridge; a brother, Oral Noll; a sister, Hilda Bradham; three step-grandchildren; & several nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers & one step-grandson.

Funeral services were held at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Clay City with Brother Larry Schnautz officiating.

Burial was in Dillman Cemetery in Sailor Springs, IL.

Vicki Martell, 45, of Clay City, IL died at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, MO as a result of an automobile accident.

Vicki was born July 23, 1959 in Olney, IL to Joseph & Julie Hildebrand Noll. She was married to William "Bill" Martell on November 10, 1990 in Port Charlotte, FL.

She was a homemaker and was affiliated with the Sailor Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Martell; daughters Ginny Carter and Madolyn Martell; son, William; brothers, Calvin Noll & Stewart Noll; sisters, Julia Murphy, Karen Morris; and several nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Rozzalyn Carter.

Services were held at Summers-Kistler funeral Home with burial in Dillman Cemetery in Sailor Springs.

Full military rites were held at the cemetery.

Notes:

Stewart "Stew" Wade Noll passed away Wednesday, January 21st, 2015 at Hospice Savannah.

A native of Olney, Illinois, he was the son of Joseph Noll and Julia Hilderbrand Noll.

Stew was a member of Sailor Springs Baptist Church in Sailor Springs, Illinois and a graduate of ITT Tech in Evansville, Indiana. In Savannah he had worked as a Tour Guide with Old Town Trolley for over five years.

Preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Vicki Martell, he is survived by two sisters, Judy Murphey (Tim) of Flora, Illinois & Karen Morris (David) of Clay City, Illinois and a brother, Calvin Noll (Carletta) of Clay City, Illinois; also, an aunt, Leola Ruth Thacker of Sumner, Illinois and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

The family has requested that donations be made to Fur A Good Paws, P.O. Box 294, Flora, Illinois, 62839 or to charities related to the former Ryan White Foundation.
