    Born in Nobel, IL to Clarence and Grace Gray Pflaum, she died in Peoria. She served in the U. S. Army Nurses Corps as a first lieutenant during W. W. II and the Korean Conflict.

    Guerin retired in 1982 from OSF St. Francis Medical Center as head nurse in the Psychiatric Unit. She had been a member of First Presbyterian church of Peoria.

    Surviving are two daughters, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
