    Notes:

    Mr. Trobaugh came to Nebraska in 1891, settling near Milligan where he resided until 1904; when he came to Clay county where he has since resided. He had been afflicted with heart trouble for a number of years which together with a slight injury received a few days ago caused his death.

    Buried:
    Interment was in the Fairfield cemetery by K. of P. lodge of which he was a member. He was also a member of the M. W. A. and Court of Honor.

    OBITUARY
    DEWEY TROBOUGH

    Dewey Trobough, son of George and Anna Trobough, was born at Tobias, Nebbraska April 8, 1898 and departed this life March 6, 1966 at Corpus Christi, Texas at the age of 67 years.

    He spent his youth around Fairfield and came to Oxford in 1930. He was united in marriage to Mamie Hess in 1943 and they moved to Texas in 1957 which has since been his home.

    He was baptized in the Methodist Church in his youth. He served his country in World War II and is a member of the American Legion Post of Bishop, Texas. He participated in activities of the Lions Club and Chamber of Commerce in Bishop. He was cheerful and a friend of all children and young people.

    He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers. He has one surviving sister, Mrs. Mary Davis of Longview, Washington.

    He is survived by his wife, Mamie; step-son, Bill Hess of Santa Clara, California; step-daughter, Mrs. Bonnie Pierson of Kingsville, Texas; mother-in-law, Mrs. Laura Wells of Oxford; ten grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

    Relatives from away who attended the service besides his wife were Bill Hess, Santa Clara, California, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Pierson and Jackie Byfield of Kingsville, Texas, Mrs. Katie Trobough, Edgar, Nebraska, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Trobough, Deweese, Nebraska, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Campbell, Beaver City, Mr. and Mrs. Ernie Gill, Beaver City, Mr. and Mrs. Emery Quinn and Jeanine, Beaver City.

    Funeral services were conducted at Mitchell Funeral Home, Oxford, Nebr., March 12, 1966 with Rev. Walter Bailey officiating. Music was by soloist Richard York with Mrs. Mae Fisher at the organ. Bearers were Alva Clarine, Max Clarine, C. G. Cropp, Irvin Weatherwax, Bill Loper and Art Kinsman. Flag Presentation was made by Joe Blincow, Chaplain and Oxford Veterans in the interment service at the Oxford Cemetery.

Mamie (daughter of Wells, William Thomas and Campbell, Laura Bell) was born on 17 Apr 1904 in East St. Louis, St. Clair County, Illinois; died on 20 Apr 1992 in Oxford, Furnas County, Nebraska; was buried in Oxford Cemetery, Oxford, Harlan County, Nebraska.
