    He attended Clay City Baptist church and was a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation, Ducks Unlimited and past Clay City Volunteer Fireman, serving over 30 years.

    Charles D. Duff, 65, of Clay City, died at 5:10 a.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2002, in St. John's Hospital, Springfield, IL.

    Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday,April 27, at the Frank and Bright Funeral Home, Flora, IL. Burial was in the Clay City Cemetery, Clay City, IL.

    Mr. DUFF was born on October 16, 1956, in Olney, the son of Charles D. and Ginger (OSBORN) DUFF. He was an employee of Sparton Engineered Products, Flora, and was a member of the Clay City Methodist Church.

    Surviving are his parents, Charles D. and Ginger DUFF of Clay City; maternal grandmother, Ruth SHIPLEY of Olney; paternal grandfather, C.D. DUFF of Clay City; good friend, Donna Jo CARPENTER; one sister, Mrs. Phillip (Kimberly) FRENCH of Clay City; several aunts and uncles; two nephews, Braxton and Preston FRENCH.

    He was preceded in death by his grandfather and grandmother.

    Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, at the Summers-Kistler Funeral Home, Clay City. The Revs. Brad HARRIS and Brad HENSON will officiate at the services.

    Burial will be in the Clay City Cemetery.

    Memorials may be made to the Clay City Methodist Church or the Clay City Baptist Church parking lot fun.
