    Everett W. Osborn, (E. W. or "Tooter") age 74, of Warner Robins, GA died at 11:24 AM on Sunday, August 26, 2012 at Houston Medical Center in Warner Robins, GA.

    He was born on July 21, 1938 in Creek County, OK to Lewis Everett Osborn and Yvonne Jenella (Broadway) Osborn. He was never married.

    He & his parents moved to Illinois when he was a young boy where "Lew" was able to find work in the oil fields. With several moves the family settled in Clay County where the kids attended school.

    E. W. graduated from Clay City High School in 1956 & immediately enlisted in the USAF. He served four years there & then returned home to work in the oil field for a short time & at Sparton Mfg. Company before being hired by General Electric to work in the electronics field.

    His work took him to Turkey (3 years), Alaska (a year) and Europe. After his retirement from GE he lived for awhile in Florida where he got his pilots license & owned a small airplane which he flew home many times. He eventually took a job in Civil Service at the Warner Robins AFB in Georgia, he retired there & continued to live in Warner Robins until the time of his death.

    He is survived by a sister: Kaaren Bangert; a brother: Larry Osborn; and two nieces, two nephews, a great niece, five great nephews, and twin great-great nieces.

    A graveside service for Everett was held at Floral Garden of Memories, Flora, with military honors presented by Flora American Legion Post #14 and Flora VFW Post #3999.

    Frank & Bright Funeral Home, Flora was in charge.

    Memorials were made to donor's choice of Veteran Service Organization.

    Notes:

    Stephen E. Bangert, age 53, of Clay City, Illinois passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.

    He was born September 24, 1961 in Olney, Illinois to Maurice and Kaaren J. (Osborn) Bangert.

    Stephen was an accomplished musician playing the piano and saxophone, and was often an accompanist for students participating in music contests. He served on the Clay City Village Board where he assisted with the improvement of the Clay City Cemetery, and was a member of the Clay City Christian Church.

    Stephen is survived by his parents: Maurice and Kaaren Bangert of Clay City; a sister: Kathy (Phil) Leonard of Effingham; niece: Megan (James) Doerfler of New Berlin; nephew: Aaron Leonard of Effingham; two great-nieces: Addyson and Bryleigh Doerfler; aunt: Jona (Mike) Uptmor of Robinson; and uncles: Ron (Naomi) Bangert of Clay City and Larry Osborn of Boulder City, Nevada. He will also be missed by his beloved little dog, "Max". He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

    Memorials may be made to Fur A Good Paws or Clay City Cemetery and will be accepted at the funeral home.

    A graveside service was held May 23, 2015 at the Clay City Cemetery. Frank & Bright Funeral Home assisted the family.
