    John Ray Wilkins, age 78, of Ingraham, passed away, Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at 10:55 pm at his home in Ingraham.

    John was born May 23, 1939 at home in Ingraham, IL the son of the late Truman Ray and the late Lillian Berniece (Colborn) Wilkins.

    He was united in marriage to Alice Pickel on February 10, 1975 in Olney, IL.

    John was employed by Weber's Clothing and Jewelry of Teutopolis for 55 years as a watch maker and a clock repairman.

    He is survived by his wife, Alice Wilkins of Ingraham; sons, John Ray Wilkins, Jr of Olney, Bradley Keith Wilkins of Ingraham; daughter, Michelle Dawn Wilkins of Ingraham; brother, William Lee (Marla) Wilkins of Teutopolis; sisters, Leona Thomas of Olney, Peg (Jim) Kuenstler of Olney; grandchild, Brittney (Jason) Staley of Olney; great grandchildren, Adalynn Rae and Axton Wayne Staley of Olney.

    John is preceded in death by his parents, step-son, Stephen Jackson, brother, Beryl Dean Wilkins, sisters, Mary K. Bowen, Jo Anne Foster and Joyce Roberts.

    A private family graveside service will be at 12:30pm Friday, March 2, 2018. Interment will be held at Ingraham Cemetery in Ingraham, IL.
    Arrangements are entrusted to J.W. Neal Funeral Home.
