    Notes:

    After many years of living alone, she married Charlie Berger in 1982. They were able to spend quality time together in Florida before he preceded her in death in 1985. After Charlie's death, she continued to travel with group tours for many years.

    She spent many years rearing her family and working on the farm where she was born. In later years, she moved to Olney and worked as a caregiver as an aide at the hospital and later in private care for many individuals in the area.

    She was an avid quilter. She spent many hours quilting with the ladies at First United Methodist Church in Olney. She also spent many hours helping to make lap robes for needy children and adults. Each of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren has many beautiful quilts that were handmade for them by her. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Olney.

    Grace married Adams, Orlando Robert in 1933. Orlando (son of Adams, John Rush and Gray, Florence Irene) was born on 26 Mar 1908 in Richland County, Illinois; died on 10 Jul 1945 in Olney Sanitarium, Olney, Richland County, Illinois; was buried in Wesley Cemetery, Wendelin, Clay County, Illinois.     JD Adams, 82, of Noble, passed away on Friday, August 24, 2018 at Carle Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.

    He was born on September 6, 1935 in Wakefield, IL, the son of Orlando and Grace (Negley) Adams.

    JD grew up in Wakefield, IL and moved to Oklahoma where he followed the wheat harvest. He then moved back to Cisne, IL where he met his future wife, Eula Hamilton, and worked in the oilfield.

    He married Eula (Hamilton) on August 26, 1967 in McLeansboro, IL. She survives him.

    They had 2 sons, Mike and Jay Adams.

    They moved to Noble in 1978 where they currently reside. JD enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren participate in sporting activities, particularly in baseball and basketball.

    JD is survived by his wife of almost 51 years, Eula Adams of Noble; son, Michael Adams and wife Rita of Olney; son, Jay Adams and wife Mindy of O'Fallon, MO; grandchildren, Robert, Connor, and Braden Adams of Olney, and Tyler Adams of O'Fallon, MO; brothers, Everett Adams and wife Sue of Noble, Neil Adams of Evansville, IN; and several nieces and nephews.

    He was preceded in death by his parents.

    A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday, August 27, 2018 at the Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at the Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney, with burial following in Noble Cemetery.
