    Notes:

    Delbert H. Runyon, 49, owner of Delbert Runyon Oil Producers, Inc., 209 North Fair Street, lifelong resident of Richland County and one of Olney's finest and most active citizens, died Friday at the Richland Memorial Hospital.

    He was born near Noble, IL on January 5, 1919, son of Harold H. and Della Stanley Runyon.

    He was a very active member of Olney Lodge No. 140, Ancient Free and Accepted Masons, the Consistory of East St. Louis, the Center Shrine Club of Olney, was the Chairman of the Richland County Housing Authority, was a Past President of the Olney Petroleum Club, the Center Shrine Club, and the Olney Chamber of Commerce. He was a member of the First Methodist Church of Olney.

    Delbert was called upon often to spearhead many projects in this community, and was responsible for the success of those projects in the welfare of the county.

    Delbert is survived by two sons, Damon P. Runyon of Evansville, and Dale Michael Runyon, student at ERHS, two brothers, Robert L Runyon and Lenard L. Runyon, both of Noble; two sisters, Mrs. Dale (Bonnie) McKnight of Noble and Mrs. David (Evelena) Brotherton of Taylorville, two grandchildren, and his father and step-mother, Harold and Effie Runyon of Noble.

    He was preceded in death by his mother, Della May Stanley Runyon, a brother, Donald, and a sister, Alice.

    Funeral services for Mr. Runyon will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday in the Chapel of the Schaub Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Masonic Section of Crest Haven Memorial Park cemetery. Masonic funeral rites will be conducted at the funeral home at 7:00 p.m. Sunday.

    Robert Lee (Bob) Runyon, 95, of Noble, Illinois passed away on Friday, April 17, 2020 at Helia Healthcare in Olney.

    Robert was born on August 1, 1924 in Noble, Illinois, the son of Harold Henry and Della May (Stanley) Runyon. He married Leila Mae Hubble on December 26, 1947 in Clay City, Illinois. They celebrated their 72nd anniversary in December 2019.

    Robert was a lifelong farmer and oil producer. He loved to spend time with his family and reminisce about the old days.

    Robert is survived by his wife of 72 years, Leila Mae of Noble; daughter, Sherry (Rick) Reber of Tampa, FL; daughter, Kathy (Ken) Doty of Noble, IL; daughter, Dana L. Simmering of Boonville, IN; son, K. Craig (Stephanie) Runyon of Noble, IL; and Daughter-in-law, Norma Jean Fletcher of Olney, IL.

    15 -Grandchildren, Kimberly (Bob) Doyle of Olney, IL; Derek Reber of Tampa, FL; Ethan (Nicole) Reber of Chesapeake, VA; Jared (Jennifer) Reber of Mulberry, FL; Seth Reber of Tampa, FL; Kyle Doty of Highland, IL; Kory (Kristen) Doty of Effingham, IL; Travis Knowlton of Boonville; IN; Daniel Knowlton of Indianapolis, IN; Sydney Simmering of Boonville, IN; Devin (Kali) Runyon of Noble, IL; Cody Runyon of Olney, IL; and Brayden Runyon of Noble, IL.

    9-Great Grandchildren, Robert, Brylee and Meredith Reber of Chesapeake, VA; Jacob Reber of Mulberry, FL; Logan, Lexy, and Liam Doyle of Olney, IL; Kynleigh and Kase Doty of Effingham, IL, and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

    Robert was preceded in death by his son, Gary W. Runyon of Olney, grandsons, Joshua P. Runyon of Noble, IL and Sean R. Reber of Tampa, FL, his parents, Harold H. and Della May (Stanley) Runyon, infant brother Donald, brothers, Delbert Runyon and Lenard Runyon, and sisters, Alice Gifford, Bonnie McKnight and Evelena Brotherton.

    Due to the Covid-19 virus and restrictions on gatherings- there will not be a visitation. A Graveside Service for immediate family will be conducted by Joel Harrison.

    In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorials be made to the Olney FFA and Ag in the Classroom.

    Glenda was born July 14, 1952 in Olney, to Dale and Bonnie (Runyon) McKnight. She married Richard Barthelemy on March 3, 1973, he survives.

    Glenda had a strong faith in the Lord and was a member of the Olney Church of the Nazarene and attended church at the First Christian Church of Noble. She loved family, especially her grandchildren. Glenda worked at the MotoMart in Olney for 23 years and was known for her contagious laugh and jovial personality. She took pleasure in reading her devotional books and watching TV.

    She is survived by her husband, Richard Barthelemy of Noble; sons, Chad Barthelemy and wife Shelly of Noble, and Shanon Barthelemy and wife Jennifer of Newton, IL; 6 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild; brothers, Allen D. (JoAnn) McKnight of Flora and Brent (Paula) McKnight of Olney; and several nieces and nephews.

    She was preceded in death by her parents and best friend, Sandra Whitney.

    A funeral service will be held for Glenda at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

    Interment will follow at Noble Cemetery.

    Memorials can be made to the Linda E. White Hospice House.
