    EDITH MAE COLCLASURE, 92 of Camden, OH passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at Woodland Country Manor Somerville, OH. Born on August 4, 1922 in Sailor Springs, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late George & Mae (Conley) Crouse. Edith married Isom "Cal" Colclasure on December 31, 1940.

    Edith was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Camden, OH where she was active in church affairs. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, flower and vegetable gardening. In the early years of her marriage she and the family lived in Canada, South America and 12 other U.S. states. After returning from South America they settled in Ohio where she remained the rest of her life.

    Preceded in death by her husband: Isom "Cal" Colclasure in 1987; son: Dennis Lynn Colclasure in 1954; sister Marie Wattles and a grandson: Shane Rush.

    Survivors include her daughter: Peggy (Bob) Rush of Eaton, OH; sons: Jerry (Peggy) Colclasure of Dallas, GA and Larry (Carol) Colclasure of Middletown, OH; 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

    Family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. on Monday December 29, 2014 at the First Southern Baptist Church 35 North Liberty Street Camden, OH. The Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. at the church with Rev. Dr. Greg Jackson officiating. Interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Camden, OH.

    Patricia Ann Cooper, age 82, of Flora, and formerly of Louisville, Illinois, passed away early Wednesday morning, August 23, 2023, at Flora Rehabilitation & Health Care Center.

    She was born February 26, 1941, in Clay County, the daughter of Isom Colclasure and Marie Crouse. She was united in marriage to Everett Leon Cooper on November 23, 1960, at Hoosier Prairie Baptist Church and together they have shared 62 wedding anniversaries.

    Patricia enjoyed dancing, going to the beach, and listening to Blues music. She and Leon had traveled over 150,000 miles on motorcycles and often attended tattoo shows all over the country. She had been a member of the Flora Eagles for over 35 years and was a member and attended Hoosier Prairie Baptist Church.

    She is survived by her husband: Leon Cooper of Flora; a son: Justin Cooper (Marsha Henson) of Rinard; 2 sisters: Peggy (Bob) Rush of Monroe, Ohio, and Lola (Eldon) Galloway of Newton; 3 brothers: Jerry (Peggy) Colclasure of Dallas, Georgia, Larry (Carol) Colclasure of Middletown, Ohio, and Carl (Robin) Wattles of Clay City; and several nieces and nephews.

    She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant brother: Dennis Colclasure; and her beloved dog, Charlie.

    A funeral ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, August 27, 2023, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora. Interment will follow in Orchard Hill Cemetery, Louisville. A visitation will be from 12 noon until 2 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested to Fur a Good Paws or Alzheimer’s Association and these will be accepted through the funeral home.
